Every year, the “Four Days of the Yser” leads participants along updated routes and endeavours to make them discover lesser known corners and tracks along the coast and in the Westhoek. Whether you are looking for an athletic challenge or a leisurely stroll along the Belgian coastline, you will enjoy crossing the flat polder landscape around Diksmuide or discovering the rolling border area in Poperinge and Ypres. When designing the routes we take a dash of Mother Nature, add a measure of picturesque villages and a sprinkle of culture and history.
In order to make the walking experience complete, we alternate the tranquillity of nature with small but lively performances.
These performances can vary from a barrel organ or an accordion to real bands who will bring back memories from the past. Sit back and enjoy the music with a regional beer, a “picon vin blanc” or a deliciously refreshing non-alcoholic beverage.
