ORGANISATION

The Four Days of the Yser is organised by the secretariat Four Days of the Yser which, since 17 February 2025, has been accommodated under the battalion 1C/1Gr, the battalion 1C/1Gr having taken over the quarter Command from the battalion Artillery. In preparation and during execution, the secretariat Four Days of the Yser enjoys the support of all units based in the barracks of Lombardsijde further supplemented by elements from Defence such as the 14th Medical battalion.

The walk is organised in close cooperation with the municipality of Koksijde and the cities of Nieuwpoort, Diksmuide, Poperinge and Ypres.
