Walking is a sport, which means it is important to stay sufficiently hydrated. Make sure to drink sufficiently before, during and after the activity.
The best thirst-quencher is and remains water, and tap water is perfectly fine. Tap water is full of minerals and certainly as healthy as bottled water that you buy in a shop or supermarket.
We therefore offer a reusable bottle to each registered walker at every edition.
You can collect this bottle in the start area upon presentation of the token you will have received with your personal walking card.
Thanks to the water companies, additional water fountains were installed along the route so that the participants can regularly fill their water bottles. The locations of these water fountains are marked on the route map.
The Four Days of the Yser as an organisation does not offer meals along the routes.
Catering is offered by the accommodation camps, for more information please contact the respective camp.
To satisfy a small hunger, there are a number of private initiatives along the routes to recharge your batteries with a light snack or a refreshing beverage.
In addition, our sponsors will provide a small daily treat for all walkers.
